Copyright Policy

We respect the work of creators. WithoutWatermark doesn’t host videos, photos or audio. When someone pastes a link, our server fetches the file from the site it came from and deletes it within 60 minutes. If you own the rights to content and don’t want it to be downloadable through our site, we will block it.

The fastest way to stop downloads

Our tool works only with public posts. If you delete a post or make it private on the site where it was published, it can no longer be downloaded through our site or tools like it. You can also report the post to that site.

How to send a copyright notice

Email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:

  1. Your full name, postal address, phone number and email address.
  2. A description of the work you own, or a link to the original.
  3. The exact links to the posts you want blocked on our site.
  4. This statement: “I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
  5. This statement: “The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
  6. Your physical or electronic signature. Typing your full name is enough.

These are the elements required by the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)). We accept notices from any country.

What happens next

We usually reply within three working days. If your notice is complete, we will block the links you listed so our tool no longer fetches them. Temporary copies are already deleted within 60 minutes of being made. We may also block access for anyone who repeatedly uses the site to infringe copyright.

False notices

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice or counter notice may have to pay damages. If you aren’t sure whether content infringes your rights, get legal advice before you send a notice.

Trademarks

Names such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X belong to their owners. We use them only to say which links our tool accepts, and we aren’t affiliated with these companies.
